Selsun Dandruff Shampoo

Description

Selsun Dandruff Shampoo 2.5% is the solution used to treat seborrhoea dermatitis and dandruff. It reduces the greasiness on the scalp and slows the process of new and developing skin cells on the scalp.
It is the perfect answer to tackle bad dandruff, and getting healthier, cleaner hair.

Usage and Instructions:
Adults and children aged 5 years and over:
Shake bottle well before use.
Wet the hair and then massage enough into your scalp to form a lather.
Leave for two to three minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
Apply liberally twice weekly for two weeks and then once weekly for the next two weeks.
Thereafter use only as often as necessary to control the condition.

Warnings:
Not recommended for children under 5 years.
Seek advice before using if you are breastfeeding, pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or suffer from allergies.
Gold, silver and other metallic jewellery should be removed prior to use, since discolouration may be caused.
For external use only.
Keep out of eyes – if Selsun gets into the eyes, wash thoroughly with cold water.
Do not leave the shampoo in contact with the hair or skin for more than the recommended duration as irritation can occur.
Selenium can also cause discolouration of the hair and alter the colour of hair dyes.

Side Effects:
In decreasing order of severity:
Skin irritation.
Occasional reports of an increase in normal hair loss.
Discolouration of hair (can be avoided or minimised by thorough rinsing of hair after treatment).
As with other shampoos, oiliness or dryness of hair and scalp may occur.

Ingredients:
Selenium sulphide 2.5% w/v.
Other Ingredients: 
Purified water, Monoethanolamine Lauryl Sulphate, Empigen BB, Bentonite, Glyceryl Monoricinoleate S, Sodium Chloride, Titanium Dioxide, Perfume, Sodium Dihydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate and Citric Acid.
