Oral-B Essential Mint Dental Floss is a dental hygiene product designed to remove plaque and food debris from between your teeth and along the gumline. Regular flossing helps to maintain healthy teeth and gums and leaves your mouth feeling fresh and clean.

How It Works

The floss is designed to slide easily between teeth, physically removing plaque and trapped food particles from areas that a toothbrush cannot reach. Its mint coating helps to leave a fresh feeling in your mouth after use, supporting your overall oral hygiene routine.

Directions for Use

Break off approximately 45–50 cm of floss and wind most of it around the middle fingers of each hand, leaving a short working section. Gently guide the floss between your teeth using a gentle rubbing motion, curving it around each tooth and sliding it beneath the gumline. Use a clean section of floss for each tooth. Suitable for adults and children old enough to use floss safely — younger children should be supervised by an adult. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Possible Side Effects

• Mild gum bleeding when first starting to floss regularly (usually settles within 1–2 weeks)
• Temporary gum soreness or sensitivity, particularly in those new to flossing
• Irritation of the gums if the floss is used too forcefully

If your gums bleed persistently or you experience significant pain or swelling, stop using the floss and seek dental advice. If you experience any serious side effects, stop taking this medicine and seek medical advice immediately.

Oral-B Essential Mint Dental Floss is a topical dental hygiene product and is not expected to interact with medicines, food, or supplements. If you are taking blood-thinning medicines (such as warfarin), you may notice increased gum bleeding when flossing — if this is a concern, please seek advice. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

Dental floss is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy and whilst breastfeeding.
