    Nicorette Mouthspray Freshmint Duo – 2 x 150 Sprays

Nicorette Mouthspray Freshmint is a nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) used to help you stop smoking. It delivers a quick-acting dose of nicotine to relieve cravings and withdrawal symptoms, making it easier to quit for good.

    How It Works

Each spray delivers a fine mist of nicotine directly into your mouth, where it is rapidly absorbed through the lining of the mouth into the bloodstream. This fast absorption helps to quickly ease the urge to smoke and reduce the discomfort of nicotine withdrawal, without the harmful tar and carbon monoxide found in cigarettes.

    Directions for Use

Nicorette Mouthspray is suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over. When you feel the urge to smoke, spray 1–2 sprays into the mouth, avoiding the lips. Do not inhale while spraying. You can use 1–2 sprays per craving, up to a maximum of 4 sprays per hour and no more than 64 sprays in 24 hours. It is recommended to use the spray for 12 weeks, gradually reducing the number of sprays over time. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    • Nicotine 1 mg per spray (as nicotine resinate)

    Possible Side Effects

    • Hiccups
    • Nausea or stomach discomfort
    • Sore mouth or throat
    • Headache
    • Dizziness
    • Increased heart rate
    • Heartburn or indigestion
    • Dry mouth or altered taste

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

    • Children under 12 years of age
    • People with a known allergy to nicotine or any other ingredient in this product
    • Non-smokers (those who have never smoked)
    • People who have recently had a heart attack, severe heart rhythm disturbances, or a stroke — unless on the advice of a doctor
    • People with severe kidney or liver problems (unless advised by a doctor)

    Interactions

Nicotine replacement therapy has few known interactions with other medicines. However, stopping smoking (with or without NRT) may affect the levels of certain medicines in the blood, such as theophylline, clozapine, and warfarin, as smoking itself influences how the body processes these drugs. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

    Pregnancy and Breastfeeding

Stopping smoking completely is strongly recommended during pregnancy, and non-nicotine methods are preferred. If NRT is considered necessary, it should only be used under medical supervision, as nicotine passes into breast milk and may affect a developing baby. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.

    Alcohol

There are no known interactions between Nicorette Mouthspray and alcohol. However, alcohol can sometimes trigger cravings to smoke, so it is worth being mindful of this during your quit attempt.

    Driving and Operating Machinery

Nicorette Mouthspray is not expected to affect your ability to drive or operate machinery. However, if you experience dizziness or other side effects that could impair your concentration, avoid driving or operating machinery until these pass.

    Storage

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat. Do not freeze. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
