Description
Migraleve Pink and Yellow (Complete) – 12 Tablets
Migraleve Complete is a combined migraine treatment pack containing both Migraleve Pink and Migraleve Yellow tablets. It is used to relieve moderate to severe migraine pain and associated symptoms such as nausea and vomiting, in adults and children aged 12 and over whose migraines have been diagnosed by a doctor.
⸻
How It Works
Migraleve Pink tablets contain paracetamol and codeine to relieve pain, plus buclizine hydrochloride to help with the nausea and vomiting that often accompany migraines. Migraleve Yellow tablets contain paracetamol and codeine only, and are used to continue pain relief as the migraine progresses. Together, they provide a stepped approach to treating a full migraine attack from start to finish.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 and over: At the first sign of a migraine, take 2 Migraleve Pink tablets. If symptoms persist, take 2 Migraleve Yellow tablets every 4 hours as needed. Do not take more than 2 Pink tablets and 6 Yellow tablets in any 24-hour period. Do not take for more than 3 days without speaking to a doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

Interactions
Migraleve may interact with other medicines including other painkillers containing paracetamol or codeine, sedatives and sleeping tablets, antidepressants (particularly MAOIs and tricyclics), anticoagulants such as warfarin, and medicines for epilepsy. Taking other products containing paracetamol at the same time can cause serious overdose. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Migraleve Pink tablets contain buclizine and codeine, which are not recommended during pregnancy. Codeine use during breastfeeding is contraindicated as it can pass into breast milk and may cause serious harm to the baby. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
⸻
Alcohol
You should avoid drinking alcohol whilst taking Migraleve, as alcohol can increase the sedative effects of codeine and raise the risk of drowsiness and dizziness. Alcohol can also increase the risk of liver damage when taken alongside paracetamol, especially in those who drink heavily or regularly.
⸻
Driving and Operating Machinery
Migraleve contains codeine and buclizine, both of which can cause drowsiness, dizziness, and impaired concentration. You should not drive or operate heavy machinery until you know how this medicine affects you. If you feel drowsy or unsteady, do not drive.
⸻
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
