Description
Lamisil AT 1% Cream – 15g
Lamisil AT 1% Cream is an antifungal treatment used to treat common fungal skin infections, including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), and jock itch (tinea cruris). It relieves the itching, burning, and scaling associated with these infections while targeting the root cause.
⸻
How It Works
Lamisil AT contains terbinafine hydrochloride, which works by killing the fungi responsible for the infection. It does this by blocking the production of a substance called ergosterol, which fungal cells need to survive and grow. This destroys the fungal cell membrane, clearing the infection from the inside out.
⸻
Directions for Use
For adults and children aged 12 and over, apply a thin layer of cream to the affected area and surrounding skin once or twice daily. For athlete’s foot, treatment usually lasts 1 week; for ringworm and jock itch, treatment is typically 1–2 weeks. Wash and dry the affected area thoroughly before applying the cream. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

Interactions
Lamisil AT 1% Cream is applied to the skin and is not significantly absorbed into the body, so interactions with other medicines are unlikely. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
There is limited data on the use of topical terbinafine during pregnancy. As this cream is minimally absorbed through the skin, the risk is considered low, but caution is still advised. If breastfeeding, avoid applying the cream to the breast area to prevent accidental ingestion by the infant. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.

There is no known interaction between Lamisil AT 1% Cream and alcohol, as the cream is applied topically and is not significantly absorbed into the bloodstream. You may consume alcohol as normal whilst using this product.
