Description
Hydrogen Peroxide Solution 3% 10 Vols – 200ml
Hydrogen Peroxide Solution 3% (10 Volumes) is a mild antiseptic solution used to clean and disinfect minor wounds, cuts and grazes. It can also be used as a mouthwash (when diluted) to help with minor mouth infections and to whiten teeth, and to soften and help remove ear wax.
⸻
How It Works
Hydrogen peroxide works by releasing oxygen when it comes into contact with skin or tissue. This oxidising action kills bacteria and helps to clean the wound by lifting debris and dead tissue from the surface. The bubbling action you see when it is applied is the oxygen being released.
⸻
Directions for Use
For wound cleaning: apply directly to the affected area using cotton wool or gauze. Allow it to bubble and then gently pat dry. For use as a mouthwash: dilute with an equal amount of water, rinse around the mouth for up to 1 minute, then spit out. Do not swallow. For ear wax: tilt the head and apply a few drops into the ear canal, leave for a few minutes, then drain. If you are unsure how to use this product, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
