Germoloids Ointment Triple Action – 55ml

Germoloids Ointment Triple Action is a medicated ointment used to relieve the discomfort of haemorrhoids (piles), including pain, itching, soreness, and swelling. It can be used both externally and internally, making it suitable for a range of haemorrhoid symptoms.

    How It Works

Germoloids Ointment contains two active ingredients that work together to provide triple-action relief. Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic that quickly numbs the affected area to ease pain, itching, and irritation. Zinc oxide acts as an astringent and skin protectant, helping to reduce swelling and soothe the sensitive tissue around the affected area.

    Directions for Use

Germoloids Ointment is suitable for adults and children aged 12 years and over. Apply the ointment to the affected area up to three to four times daily and after each bowel movement. For external use, apply directly to the affected area. For internal use, attach the applicator nozzle provided and insert gently. Do not use for more than seven days without seeking medical advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Active Ingredients

    • Lidocaine hydrochloride 0.7% w/w (local anaesthetic)
    • Zinc oxide 14.1% w/w (astringent and skin protectant)

    Possible Side Effects

Germoloids Ointment is generally well tolerated, but some people may experience:
