Description
Cold and Flu Nurse All in One – 16 Capsules
Cold and Flu Nurse All in One Capsules are a multi-symptom remedy designed to relieve the most common cold and flu symptoms, including headaches, body aches, blocked nose, sore throat, fever, and chesty cough — all without causing drowsiness.
⸻
How It Works
This product contains three active ingredients that work together to tackle multiple symptoms at once. Paracetamol reduces fever and relieves pain such as headaches and body aches. Phenylephrine hydrochloride is a decongestant that helps to unblock your nose and ease sinus pressure. Guaifenesin is an expectorant that loosens and thins mucus in the chest, making it easier to cough up and clear your airways.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 years and over: take 2 capsules every 4 to 6 hours as needed. Do not take more than 8 capsules in any 24-hour period. Do not give to children under 12 years of age. Swallow the capsules whole with a glass of water. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

• People taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or who have taken them within the last 14 days

Interactions
This medicine may interact with other medicines containing paracetamol — taking them together can lead to accidental overdose. Phenylephrine may interact with medicines for high blood pressure, antidepressants (particularly MAOIs and tricyclics), beta-blockers, and other decongestants. Guaifenesin may increase the effect of certain blood-thinning medicines. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.
⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Phenylephrine and guaifenesin are generally not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. While paracetamol is commonly considered suitable during pregnancy at the lowest effective dose for the shortest time, this combination product is not recommended unless advised by a healthcare professional. Speak to your doctor or PillSorted pharmacist before use if you are pregnant, trying to conceive, or breastfeeding.
⸻
Alcohol
You should avoid drinking alcohol whilst taking this medicine. Alcohol can increase the risk of liver damage when taken alongside paracetamol, and may also worsen dizziness or drowsiness associated with this product.
⸻
Driving and Operating Machinery
Cold and Flu Nurse All in One Capsules are formulated to be non-drowsy. However, cold and flu symptoms themselves can affect concentration and alertness. If you feel unwell or dizzy, avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you feel better.
⸻
Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
