Description
Beclometasone Hay Fever Relief Nasal Spray – 180 Dose
Beclometasone Hay Fever Relief Nasal Spray is used to relieve the symptoms of hay fever (allergic rhinitis), including a blocked or runny nose, sneezing, and nasal itching. It contains beclometasone dipropionate, a corticosteroid that helps reduce inflammation in the nasal passages.
⸻
How It Works
Beclometasone is a corticosteroid (steroid) that works by reducing inflammation in the lining of your nose. When pollen or other allergens trigger an allergic reaction, your nasal passages become swollen and irritated — beclometasone calms this response, helping to relieve congestion, sneezing, and itching. It works best when used regularly, and it may take a few days of use before you notice the full benefit.
⸻
Directions for Use
This spray is suitable for adults and children aged 18 years and over. The usual dose is two sprays into each nostril twice a day (morning and evening), or one spray into each nostril up to four times a day. Once symptoms are under control, the dose may be reduced to one spray into each nostril twice a day. Do not exceed two sprays into each nostril per day as a maintenance dose. This product should not be used for more than three months without seeking medical advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

Interactions
Beclometasone nasal spray has few known interactions when used as directed at recommended doses. However, other corticosteroid medicines (including inhalers, creams, or tablets) used at the same time may increase the overall steroid exposure in your body. ⸻
Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
The safety of beclometasone nasal spray during pregnancy and breastfeeding has not been fully established. It should only be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding if the benefit is considered to outweigh any potential risk.
