Description
Balneum Medicinal Bath Oil – 500ml
Balneum Medicinal Bath Oil is an emollient bath additive used to soothe and relieve the discomfort associated with dry skin conditions, including eczema and psoriasis. It helps to moisturise and soften the skin while bathing or showering.
⸻
How It Works
Balneum Bath Oil contains soya oil and lauromacrogols, which work together to help restore and maintain the skin’s natural moisture barrier. The soya oil forms a protective layer over the skin to lock in moisture, while the lauromacrogols have a mild anti-itch effect, helping to ease the irritation and dryness associated with skin conditions such as eczema.
⸻
Directions for Use
For use in the bath, add 20ml (approximately 3 capfuls) to a full bath of warm water and soak for 10–20 minutes. For a smaller or child’s bath, use less water and reduce the amount of oil accordingly. It can also be applied directly to wet skin in the shower, then rinsed off. Take care when getting in and out of the bath, as the oil may make surfaces slippery. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
