Description
Anusol Plus HC Ointment – 15g
Anusol Plus HC Ointment is a medicated treatment for haemorrhoids (piles) that helps to relieve pain, itching, swelling, and discomfort around the back passage. It is suitable for adults and contains hydrocortisone alongside other active ingredients to provide fast, effective relief.
⸻
How It Works
Anusol Plus HC Ointment contains five active ingredients that work together to treat haemorrhoid symptoms. Hydrocortisone reduces inflammation and relieves itching, zinc oxide and bismuth salts soothe and protect the affected skin, benzyl benzoate helps reduce irritation, and Peru balsam promotes healing. Together, these ingredients help calm the swollen tissue and provide a protective barrier to ease discomfort.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults should apply a small amount of ointment to the affected area up to three times daily and after each bowel movement. The ointment can also be applied inside the back passage using the nozzle applicator provided. Do not use for longer than seven days without speaking to a doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
