Losartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) used to lower high blood pressure and protect the heart and kidneys.
Brands and strengths
Losartan is the name of the active ingredient. In the UK it is sold as generic losartan and under the brand name Cozaar — both contain the same active ingredient and work the same way. Common strengths:
