Ashton & Parsons Infants’ Powders Teething Pain Relief – 20 Sachets

Ashton & Parsons Infants’ Powders are a traditional herbal remedy specially formulated to provide temporary relief from the symptoms associated with teething in infants, such as gum soreness and discomfort. Each sachet contains a natural active ingredient derived from chamomile and is designed to dissolve gently on your baby’s tongue.

    How It Works

The active ingredient, tincture of matricaria (a chamomile extract), has long been used for its traditional soothing properties. When the powder dissolves on your baby’s tongue, it is thought to help ease the discomfort and irritability associated with teething, offering gentle, temporary relief.

    Directions for Use

Ashton & Parsons Infants’ Powders are suitable for infants aged 3 months and over. Pour the contents of one sachet directly onto your baby’s tongue and allow it to dissolve. This can be given up to 6 times a day, allowing at least 2 hours between each dose. Do not exceed the recommended number of sachets in any 24-hour period. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.

    Active Ingredients

    • Tincture of Matricaria (chamomile flower extract) — equivalent to 45 mg per sachet

    Possible Side Effects

Ashton & Parsons Infants’ Powders are generally well tolerated. However, as with any medicine, side effects are possible:
    • Allergic reactions (such as skin rash, itching, or swelling) — particularly in those with known sensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae/Compositae family (e.g., ragweed, chrysanthemums, daisies)
    • Digestive upset in rare cases

If you experience any serious side effects, stop taking this medicine and seek medical advice immediately.

Who Should Not Take This Medicine

    • Infants under 3 months of age
    • Infants with a known allergy to chamomile or other plants in the Asteraceae/Compositae family (e.g., ragweed, daisies, marigolds)
    • Infants with a known allergy to any of the other ingredients listed in the patient information leaflet
    • Do not use if you are unsure whether your baby has a plant allergy — seek advice from your PillSorted pharmacist first
