Nurofen For Children 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension Strawberry Ltd) – 100ml

Nurofen For Children 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a strawberry-flavoured liquid medicine containing ibuprofen, used to relieve pain and reduce fever in children. How It Works

Ibuprofen belongs to a group of medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It works by blocking the production of prostaglandins — natural chemicals in the body that cause pain, swelling, and fever — helping to reduce discomfort and bring down a high temperature.

    Directions for Use

This medicine is for children aged 3 months to 12 years. Always use the measuring syringe or spoon provided to give the correct dose. Doses are based on the child’s weight and age — refer to the dosing table in the patient information leaflet for guidance. As a general guide: children aged 3–6 months (weighing over 5 kg): 2.5 ml up to 3 times daily; children aged 6–12 months: 2.5 ml up to 3–4 times daily; children aged 1–3 years: 5 ml up to 3 times daily; children aged 4–6 years: 7.5 ml up to 3 times daily; children aged 7–9 years: 10 ml up to 3 times daily; children aged 10–12 years: 15 ml up to 3 times daily. Leave at least 6 hours between doses. Do not give more than 3 doses in 24 hours. If the child’s fever does not come down or symptoms do not improve within 24 hours (fever) or 3 days (pain), consult a doctor. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.
