Acnecide Face Wash 5% Gel is a topical treatment for mild to moderate acne. It contains benzoyl peroxide, a well-established ingredient used to help clear spots and reduce redness on the face.

How It Works

Benzoyl peroxide works by releasing oxygen into the skin, which kills the bacteria (Cutibacterium acnes) responsible for causing acne. It also helps to unblock pores and reduce the build-up of dead skin cells, allowing the skin to clear more effectively over time.

Directions for Use

For adults and children aged 12 years and over. Wash your face with mild soap and water, then pat dry. Apply a thin layer of gel to the affected areas once daily, preferably in the evening. After the first week, you may apply it twice daily if tolerated. Wash your hands after applying. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Possible Side Effects

• Skin dryness or peeling at the application site
• Redness or irritation of the skin
• Stinging or burning sensation
• Skin feeling tight after application

Who Should Not Use This Product

• People who are allergic to benzoyl peroxide or any other ingredient in this product
• Children under 12 years of age
• People with very sensitive or severely dry skin
• Do not apply to broken, sunburned, or eczema-affected skin
• Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and mucous membranes

Storage

Store below 25°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Do not freeze. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
