Canesten Athlete’s Foot 1% Cream is an antifungal cream used to treat athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), a common fungal skin infection that causes itching, burning, and cracked skin between the toes and on the soles of the feet.

How It Works
The active ingredient, clotrimazole, works by damaging the outer membrane of the fungal cells, causing them to leak and die. This stops the fungus from spreading and clears the infection over time.

Directions for Use
For adults and children aged 12 years and over: clean and dry the affected area thoroughly, then apply a thin layer of cream two to three times a day. Gently rub the cream into the skin and the surrounding area. Continue treatment for at least four weeks, even if symptoms improve sooner, to ensure the infection is fully cleared. Canesten Athlete’s Foot 1% Cream is not recommended for children under 12 years without medical advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use.

Possible Side Effects
• Mild burning or stinging sensation at the application site

Who Should Not Use This Product
• People who are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredient in the cream
• Children under 12 years of age (without medical supervision)

• Do not apply to broken, severely inflamed, or infected skin without speaking to a doctor first
• Not for use in or near the eyes

Storage
Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct heat and sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze the cream. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
