Description
Anbesol Teething Gel – 10g
Anbesol Teething Gel is a topical anaesthetic gel designed to relieve the pain and discomfort associated with teething in babies and infants. It can also help soothe minor mouth ulcers and sore gums in adults and older children.
⸻
How It Works
Anbesol Teething Gel contains lidocaine hydrochloride, a local anaesthetic that works by temporarily numbing the area where it is applied. This helps to reduce the pain and soreness felt in the gums, providing short-term relief. It also contains antiseptic ingredients (chlorocresol and cetylpyridinium chloride) that help to keep the affected area clean and reduce the risk of infection.
⸻
Directions for Use
For babies and children over 5 months: apply a small amount of gel (approximately 1 cm) to the affected gum area using a clean finger and gently rub in. This may be repeated up to 6 times in 24 hours. Do not use more than 6 times a day. This product is not suitable for babies under 5 months of age. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
