Description
Amorolfine 5% Nail Lacquer – 3ml
Amorolfine 5% Nail Lacquer is an antifungal treatment applied directly to the nails to treat fungal nail infections (onychomycosis), including those affecting the fingernails and toenails.
⸻
How It Works
Amorolfine belongs to a group of medicines called antifungals. It works by disrupting the fungal cell membrane, damaging the structure of the fungal cells and stopping them from growing and reproducing. This gradually clears the infection as the healthy nail grows through.
⸻
Directions for Use
For adults aged 18 and over. Apply the lacquer to the affected nail(s) once or twice weekly. Before each application, file down the affected nail using the nail file provided, then clean the nail surface with a cleansing swab. Apply one coat of the lacquer to the entire nail and allow it to dry. Continue treatment until the nail has fully cleared and grown back — this can take 6 months for fingernails and up to 12 months for toenails. Always read the product information before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
⸻

• People with nail infections caused by bacteria or viruses (this product treats fungal infections only)
• Those with very severely damaged or infected nails without first seeking medical advice

Interactions
Amorolfine nail lacquer is applied topically to the nail, so significant interactions with other medicines are unlikely. However, avoid contact with nail varnish or artificial nails during treatment, as these may interfere with the effectiveness of the lacquer. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking.
