    Description

    LMX4 Lidocaine 4% Cream – 5g

LMX4 Cream contains lidocaine 4%, a local anaesthetic that numbs the skin to reduce pain. It is commonly used before minor skin procedures such as blood tests, cannulation, injections or cosmetic treatments. It can also be used to relieve the pain of minor skin irritations.

    How It Works

Lidocaine is a local anaesthetic that works by temporarily blocking nerve signals in the skin. When applied topically, it numbs the area by preventing nerves from sending pain signals to the brain. The numbing effect typically begins within 15 to 30 minutes of application and lasts for approximately 1 to 2 hours.

    Directions for Use

Apply a thick layer of LMX4 Cream to the area of skin to be numbed. Cover with a plaster or cling film to keep it in place. Leave on for 30 to 60 minutes for full effect. Remove the cream and covering before the procedure. Do not apply to broken skin, open wounds or mucous membranes. Do not apply more than the recommended amount. If you are unsure how to use this product, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
