How It Works
Rennie Spearmint Tablets contain calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate, which work by neutralising excess stomach acid quickly and effectively. By reducing the acidity in the stomach, they help to relieve the burning discomfort associated with heartburn and indigestion, providing fast-acting relief.

Directions for Use
Adults and children aged 12 and over should chew or suck 2 tablets as needed, up to 3 times daily. Do not take more than 6 tablets in 24 hours. Tablets should be taken between meals and at bedtime if required. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. Possible Side Effects
Rennie Spearmint Tablets are generally well tolerated, but some people may experience:

Who Should Not Take This Medicine
Do not take Rennie Spearmint Tablets if you:
• Are allergic to calcium carbonate, magnesium carbonate, or any other ingredient in the tablets
• Have high levels of calcium in your blood (hypercalcaemia) or urine (hypercalciuria)
• Have kidney stones containing calcium
• Have severe kidney (renal) impairment
• Are under 12 years of age

Interactions
Rennie Spearmint Tablets may affect the absorption of certain other medicines if taken at the same time. These include antibiotics (such as tetracyclines and quinolones), iron supplements, thyroid medicines (levothyroxine), and some heart medicines. It is generally recommended to leave a gap of at least 2 hours between taking Rennie and other medicines. Tell your PillSorted pharmacist or doctor about all medicines you are currently taking, including herbal remedies and supplements.

Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
Rennie Spearmint Tablets are generally considered safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding when taken as directed and at the recommended dose. However, as with all medicines, it is important to use the lowest effective dose for the shortest time necessary. Alcohol
There is no known direct interaction between Rennie Spearmint Tablets and alcohol. However, alcohol can worsen the symptoms of indigestion and heartburn, so it is advisable to limit alcohol consumption if you are suffering from these conditions.

Rennie Spearmint Tablets are not known to cause drowsiness or impair your ability to drive or operate machinery. You can continue to drive and carry out tasks requiring alertness as normal when taking this medicine.

Store below 25°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep in the original packaging to protect the tablets. Keep out of sight and reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date shown on the packaging.
