Description
Cuprofen Maximum Strength 400mg – 96 Tablets
Cuprofen Maximum Strength 400mg tablets contain ibuprofen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain, reduce inflammation, and lower fever. They are suitable for adults and children aged 12 and over for conditions such as headaches, toothache, period pain, muscle aches, and joint pain.
⸻
How It Works
Ibuprofen works by blocking the production of chemicals called prostaglandins, which your body releases in response to injury or illness. By reducing prostaglandin levels, ibuprofen helps to ease pain, reduce swelling and inflammation, and bring down a high temperature.
⸻
Directions for Use
Adults and young people aged 12 and over: take one 400mg tablet up to three times a day as needed, leaving at least four to six hours between doses. Do not take more than three tablets (1,200mg) in 24 hours. Always take ibuprofen with or after food to help protect your stomach. Do not use for more than a few days without medical advice. Always read the patient information leaflet before use. If you are unsure about the correct dose, speak to your PillSorted pharmacist.
